As far as his knee bent valgus (knock kneed), that almost always results in a torn MCL (and a torn meniscus where the MCL attaches to the femur). In fact, it is almost certainly a slight tear. The only way he comes back that fast is a combination of elite athlete durability AND elite level training regimen.
