A 1 hour long quarter and it didn't even feel like the usual Fox commercial fest. We're in for a long one in more ways than one, it appears. Offense needs to take over the game right now, and defense needs to get it's head straight.

Well, we've survived the opening scripted series, the first quarter adrenalin, a fumble (needed some fumble luck after last week) and Fields' nerves. We're outrushing the hell out of them, protecting Fields pretty well, and have superior talent, and depth. Just avoid fuckery and all will be well.

He’d have to be able to cover and that wasn’t his strong suit. He can’t be any worse than Werner though.

Our entire defense is based on the DL pressuring the QB. Once the holds start being called, and they will, the DL will start camping out in their backfield and it's a done deal

I always love your optimism, but there is zero reason to expect B1G refs to call holding

would love to know the number of holds called on players blocking chase on a per-play basis and how it stacks up nationally. you'd assume that chase would/should be no worse than the top 5. highly doubt the assumption holds up, though.

Considering OSU opponents have been called for maybe 5 offensive holding penalties all season.....
