Last year was the first one without my mother who was a huge OSU fan. At least they got to see a nice win streak in the rivalry.

And as for this one, I am not worried about it. Perhaps I should be, but I’m not. OSU’s speed and talent should rule the day. Blue guys are slow and their offense is pedestrian at best. They’re the same team every year under Harbaugh. Uninspiring and boring.

As for your nerves....I can't help you with that. I'm the resident worrier. I worry for everyone else every game. It takes a lot out of you. I appreciate you shouldering some of the burden.

In 68 I sent money from Vietnam to a friend still at OSU to buy 2 tickets for my dad and Uncle Cliff, both WWII vets. They got to witness a classic while I huddled in a bunker at 0200 hours to listen to The Game on AFVN. I know those two old coots had a little something in their coffee as they watched and cheered. If there's a heaven, they're watching today.

Drinking rum and cokes with my mother-in-law while my father-in-law plays Hang on Sloopy and Script Ohio with both of my boys on his lap. Headed to my parents at 10 to begin playing darts, cooking and drinking the official "The Game" bourbon of Woodford Reserve. 11 my uncles and cousins show up with coolers and bottles of everything (already half in the can) and shit ton of food. This day is already fucking epic. Getting my posts in now as I won't be on during the game. FUUUUUCK I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!
