Ohio State now #3 in All-Time Winning Percentage, #5 in Wins

You can't be serious.
Somewhat serious, but extremely hopeful. Barring accident, I fully expect to live at least 30 more years.

That's not the point though. The Buckeyes are doing even better than we talked of five and a half years ago in this thread. The tun is doing even worse than we predicted five and a half years ago. And if scUM rises from bad but continues with mediocrity, it will be hard for them to recruit - players or coaches.

Mili--not everyone that posts on this board is as old as BB73. We can wait it out.

I think I'm being insulted, but most of those letters are too small for me to read, so I'm not sure.

I expect to see Texas pass TSUN in all-time wins in about 10 years (they've gained 23 wins in the last 5 seasons), but I don't expect to live to see tOSU also pass them. But I'd be happy to see it - since it means that either TSUN continues to suck for several years, or they're mediocre for a couple of decades, or I'm a very ripe old SOB.

PSU has lost more games this decade (and it's only half over) than any other of the previous 4 decades. That's just sad. Get your ass to a nursing home, JoePa.

[JoePa] Screw ya, you young punk! PSU is back near the top and I just got LASIK surgery so I have a better chance to spot a bad call and yell at the refs. [/JoePa]

Take out all of the absolutely bat-[censored] rediculous schools that tsun counts as wins before 1920 and they would already be passed up by several schools. [censored]ing losers.

There are several teams that have wins against ridiculous schools before 1920. I know everybody likes to think Michigan was only good before 1940, but I can bring stats to the table. Hell from 1970-1999 Michigan was 3rd in wins and 2nd in winning %. They have struggled this past decade, then again they struggled for the most part from the early to mid 50s until the late 60s. You could argue that Michigan was one of the most consistent teams in football from Bo until RR.

Ohio State lost to Ohio Medical in 1900 11-6. What the hell?.They did come back in 1901 to beat Western Reserve 6-5.I found this impressive. 8-1 record in 1906 and Ohio State outscored their opponents 153-14.

Sure Michigan had some less than stellar wins back in the day. Lets not act like they were the only one winning against ridiculous schools.

I think Texas will pass us soon. The rate they are going at is impressive and I don't see them slowing down when Muschamp takes over. 10 wins is a given for them it seems.

This mess is going to take awhile to fix. I am not really looking foward to this season at all. The offense could be exciting but the defense will be dreadful. We should have some fun. Lets put The Coner, Tate, Shoe lace, and Gardner on the field at the same time.

Looking at the past 100 years, two things stand out:

Stassen.1910.2009

tOSU is #1 in winning percentage.

TSUN is #10 in the number of wins.
