I would not be surprised to see Ohio State fall behind Auburn. And maybe Notre Dame as well, because their best loss is better than our best win. Pollsters will be looking for some way to screw Ohio State. We'd better go 13-0 or we're out of the playoffs for sure.

I don't subscribe to the "tOSU is screwed over" conspiracy that runs rampant here. I'm more of an "SEC gets a pass" conspiracy guy.

tOSU cut their own throat in the last coupla years by losing to godawful teams. Even Gawja doesn't lose to TN..... like we did to Purdue.

Like it or not, the pollsters can't trust tOSU not to freakin' lose for no reason to a nobody like Northwestern or Rutgers because we have. In the B1G, no one really should rival tOSU.

Then, the SEC cannibalizes itself with GA, Bama, Auburn, LSU being "ranked tough wins" when really only Bama is consistently good.

I REALLY REALLY wish the other B1G schools would step it up.

I have no problem with the pollsters dropping Ohio State for losing to a scrub team like Purdue. But when Ohio State's beating everyone by 40+ points, the pollsters should acknowledge that fact and rank Ohio State accordingly. They don't.

C'mon, man! Ohio State hasn't lost to Northwestern since 2004, and has never lost to Rutgers.

And what Ohio State did last year (losing to Purdue) is hardly relevant to this year.
