Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

OK, I had to look it up:

#15 Tracy
#21 Trotter
#56 Boulais
#59 Kingsley
#96 Bernard
#97 Cash

The bad news is that scUM has #10 Fenty, #11 Maloney, #16 Styler, and #18 Young and is ranked #3.

Ohio State is ranked #4
Damn, we fell from #1 to #4 even after the demolition of the field prior to that little hiccup? Harsh

When the ita rankings moved this season from a poll to computerized ranking there was much weird number adjustments.
In brief, the ITA computer values quality wins higher than losses, that's why osu ladies are ranked #3 despite a 7-4 record.
Men's team is 14-1, but many of their top win opponents have tumbled out of quality wins.

Bucks drop dubs point, trying to battle back in singles,
props to s Carolina’s 4, 5, 6 players where Buckeyes have heavy UTR advantages but S.C. swept first sets on the lower courts.
flashback to past years where Bucks took their early spring southern trip and the transition outdoors will be too much of a challenge.

Cash at #6 drops his match 6-2, 6-2.
Boulais at #1 also bows out in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
Bucks down 0-3 and will need the last 4 singles…
kingsley won his first set and is up a break in second serving at 5-4.
edit Kingsley closes out the second set, bucks now trail 1-3.
bernard trying to battle back, down a set and break.
trotter split sets trying to finish strong.
Tracy at 3 wins a first set tie breaker,

Huge match Sunday, 2 pm at the Ty Tucker complex as #4 Bucks host #5 Michigan.
TSUN is no longer a bridesmaid to Illini and Bucks, they boast 4 players ranked in the ita top 35, in comparison Bucks have 5 in top 60.
Doubles point will be significant for momentum into the singles competition.
Looking forward to the help of friendly courts and a home crowd for Bucks to prevail.
Lady Buckeye 11 am match will also precede the men’s showdown.
