Ohio State Men's Soccer (2024 B1G Champions)

OSU has been the better team in the first half. However ND was awarded a penalty in the box in only their second chance and converted. However the Buckeyes equalized during a series of set pieces. The Buckeyes have definitely had better and more chances.

Almost went up 2-1 and in fact the goal was initially awarded by the ND feed. However it appears though our player hit it with his hand and received a yellow card.

A statement from the Ohio State Department of Athletics

We learned last night of the tragic death of Fikayo Idowu, an outstanding young man who touched the lives of so many. Fikayo was a part of the men’s soccer program the last two years and was loved by his teammates and coaches. His family and loved ones are in our hearts and in our prayers during this time of grief.

Idowu, a redshirt sophomore from Madison, Miss., reportedly drowned at Apple Valley Lake, Friday evening. He was 19 years old, and will not be forgotten.
