Great win from a well coached team. This team is on fire and peaking at the right time. For the life of me, I can't figure out why a coach would play so much zone against this team. The buckeyes shredded that zone to pieces.

Long poles are gonna have to really play stout this weekend. Pannell is as good as it gets. If they over commit on Pannell the slides are going to have to be two and three deep because they move the ball so well.

Trey is also going to have to step it up in the FOGO game. If either of those two happen we stand a good chance. Both, it's a Buckeye win.

I'm going to watch the Cornhole game again for some details, but Cornhole taking out Amato the way they did is impressive. I think Nico is one damn fine goalie. If we stop Pannell, it's a different ball game. Don't stop Pannell, Greg is gonna be in for a long day.

Either way, it's great to be where we are. Looking forward to many more years of this.

It really says a lot when you see some of the coaches who are in the booth this year. Pietramala and Starsia out of the tourney is just crazy for me to consider. There's a LOT of parity in the game right now. I just hope in 7 years Coach Nick is looking to the Chicagoland suburbs for an attack and will leave one of the Canadians north of the border.

Looking forward to the Elite Eight match up versus Cornell. Winner gets a chance to beat Duke or Notre Dame in the Final Four.

What's not to like about that opportunity? :biggrin:

4-1 Cornell. Defense is making it too easy for them and the 2nd slides are just not there. Last 2 goals have been the same problem with an adjacent slide. 1st goal the 2nd slide didn't come on a slide on the crease.

Yep, it's like a defensive rotation in basketball - it's not happening quickly.

Bucks also aren't winning enough face offs. Cornell has had the ball far too much.

6-1...getting away from us.
