There is no way that every 4 star LB on this roster sucks. If that is indeed the case, that's entirely on coaching.

As for the offense I wonder if the game has possibly passed him by. I have heard reports from former players that when Woody was at the end of his tenure he refused to make changes on offense even when the assistant coaches pleaded for him to do so. I am not talking off season adjustments but in game adjustments. The offensive staff would correctly make the proper adjustments but Woody would over rule. I don’t know if it was stubbornness, ego or an inability to process the change necessary to make the proper call but I do wonder what the issue is on offense.

The moment they went away from running it into the gut of the defense they started moving the ball.

Maybe UFM isn't as stubborn or maybe desperation set in. 2nd half will tell us a lot.

Don't see anything the LBs are doing that is correct... wrong angles.. wrong gaps... can't disengage a block.. can't tackle... can't defend a pass

Me too.

I think there's a deeper fix that needs to occur on the defense and that will come in the off-season. At this point this defense is far worse than the 2013 version and the DC that year was fired hired away.
