There's just no excuse for any of this... Today, vs Purdue, vs Iowa, and throughout this season.
I cannot believe how poor this defense is. Everyone says "just fix it" and I think the only way we do that is to blow it all up and rebuild.
Literally nothing from this defense should be left over into next season. I think teams know what we are going to do and they're just exploiting it. The sad part is they can keep doing it over and over because we won't Address it.

As for the offense I wonder if the game has possibly passed him by. I have heard reports from former players that when Woody was at the end of his tenure he refused to make changes on offense even when the assistant coaches pleaded for him to do so. I am not talking off season adjustments but in game adjustments. The offensive staff would correctly make the proper adjustments but Woody would over rule. I don’t know if it was stubbornness, ego or an inability to process the change necessary to make the proper call but I do wonder what the issue is on offense.
