Game Thread Ohio State @ Indiana - 09/14/19, 12:00PM (FOX)

What Penix is going through health-wise is seeing his life flashing before his eyes after his coach said he intends to try to hurt Fields. Expect an impenetrable Ohio State O-line and a D-line that races through the Indiana O-line like electricity through a wire.
he probably was watching game film of chase young and said, "coach, i don't feel so well". he is a freshman, after all

Enjoy the game, fellas! That’s all I can say at this point because we aren’t going to see eye to eye if you’re expecting me to be nervous about Ohio State playing Indiana in a football game.

We’re about to swarm that stadium like we do every year, so I’m sure you’ll have plenty of us to talk football with after the game if you go and decide to stick around.
hope i live long enough to see the day when osu doesn't have more fans than indiana

Nice work. I would like to point out, however, that 247 Sports re-rated Jonah Jackson .9500 as a transfer prospect. So there goes that IU advantage.
there is no question that osu has perhaps the best talent in the country. whatever fkfootball is smoking, i want some. however, there is more to football than ratings of players when they were still in high school. let me regale you with a little tale. once there was this great football team. loaded with giant, strong, lightening quick players all over the field. one day that juggernaut traveled to a little town called west lafayette...

Trick plays for 2 point conversions = playing vanilla against Ball State. Got it.

I’m just giving you a hard time.
we'll see. we hired a new oc this season out of fresno st. supposed to be the new hot shit. likes to throw to the tight end a lot and open it up downfield. we shall see. the kicker is indiana is paying him $800k. that may be standard for ohio st but it's twice what our coordinators are usually paid. plus, we have a two man team of strength/conditioning coached. a few nfl teams and bigger college programs tried to hire them away this past off-season. indiana doubled their salaries to keep them. unheard of for indiana. it's almost as if we are actually trying to build a football program that won't be a laughing stock

As far as the game, I do see some concerns. It’s a team going on the road for the first time against a conference opponent. More importantly it’s a 1st year starting QB going on the road and facing a good defensive coached team- Allen will throw things at Fields that may lead to some wtf plays.

I trust Day to win the battle over 60 minutes but I’m fully expecting some touch and go moments, as there seem to be a lot of recent years against them.

Seems like the defensive minded coach has finally found something more exciting than drywall on offense too. Penix can play. IU always seems to have some talented WRs (James Hardy, Tandon Doss, Shane Wynn, Cody Lattimer and now Nick Westbrook). I just see too much talent up front for the Bucks to disrupt their first year starter as talented as Penix may be. Win up front, stay sound at the next 2 levels and they’ll be alright.

Good for IU... there's no reason why you all can't compete yearly.
