Agree. Very happy with some adjustments made for the second half, but I need to see more consistency in the passing game before being confident that they can score against great teams. At the very least, Barrett settled down and made most of his throws in the 2nd half. If his faith in the WRs grows, maybe we'll see him throwing guys open a little more often?

This may not really belong in the game thread. Anyway...

It's been a really long time since Indiana beat Ohio State in football

The last time Indiana beat Ohio State:

  • The Simpsons didn't exist
  • The GameBoy didn't exist
  • Taylor Swift didn't exist
  • O.J. Simpson was more famous for being hilarious in The Naked Gun than for anything else
  • Nelson Mandela was still in prison
  • The Berlin Wall was still standing
  • ...So was the USSR
  • Digital answering machines didn't exist
  • The Big 12 was just the Big 8
  • Florida State wasn't in the ACC
  • Long Beach State and Pacific were FBS football programs
  • Barry Sanders and Troy Aikman were college football players
  • The Big Ten only had ten teams
  • The first Gulf War had yet to happen
  • DEF LEPPARD - "Love Bites" was the top song in America.
  • The Top 25 poll didn't even exist. It was just the AP Top 20 (Indiana was 20).
  • Syracuse and Washington State were better than Alabama.
  • Texas, Penn State and Ohio State all finished below .500, but Rutgers did not.

I have to give IU some credit, Lagow threw some great balls and Cobb made some incredible catches. Lattimore, Conley, nor Roby would have fared much better with that kind of execution.

Love that we ran and threw for 300 each, but damn JT still holds it too long at times. We still don't throw timing routes and the ball never came out as fast as Lagows.

JK is a better runner as a Frosh than Zeke was. Ut oh I said it. Kid as special talent to make guys miss.

btw, 2014 Indiana game Ohio State was losing at home !!! 20 to 14 with 2:30 left in the 3rd quarter and then a freshman named Jalin Marshall showed up. Did I mention it's a longgg season.

Yeah....when my husband started putting stock in what the announcers said, I retired to bed--- hoping this morning he'd regain his sanity.

All the bitching and moaning last night is expected from any fan base really . I wasn't surprised especially coming off the end of last year. That said, was it really that much of a surprise ? Props to Indiana for giving them a game for 2.5 quarters. I think I hate playing them more than any other B1G team just because of how the games go with them. I'm going to go back and watch the 2nd half again because we played lights out for most of it. What an answer . We're in for a special year and I'm so glad the offseason is finally over! GO BUCKS!!!
