Ohio State Fans Rated Rudest in Big Ten

MaxBuck

SoCal, Baby!
Basking in the afterglow of yesterday's satisfying victory and reading accounts of the game in news reports, I came upon something very disappointing. Sports Illustrated apparently polled readers as to favorite places to see a football game in the B11, and added some more questions alongside. One of those was where readers found the rudest fans, and Ohio State won by a LARGE margin: 34.9 percent of readers found us to be the rudest fans in the conference, with Michigan fans a distant second at 23.3 percent.

What do you say, Buckeye fans? Next season, let's make a big effort to turn that perception around! Let's make opposing fans feel much more welcome in Ohio Stadium and in Columbus. After all, the more comfy they feel here, the longer they'll stay and the more dollars they will spend in the central Ohio economy!

(I have no problem, personally, with making one single exception to this general objective! You know who I mean. :wink2:)

From a Lansing "news" site? Might want to consider the source of why these "pollsters" listed Ohio State as the rudest. I don't live in Ohio anymore, but I still don't give a Damn about the whole state of *ichigan.

Fuck them.

there no worse fans any where and the includes scUM than fucking LSU fans. I hate every single on of them and I hope they all die in a fire.

Thaht might sound a little rough but its true> i did not meet a sngle decent fan at the BCS game a few years back> Ive always meet some really cool people at bowl games and away games but not there. Fuck every single one of them.

Earlier this season I saw on online article saying that pretty much every top 10 team had the worst fans. Florida, Ohio State, Texas, USC and so on. I don't believe our fans are rudest. Unless we are giving Michigan fans a hard time. *LOL*:oh::io:

I think it is an unfortunate product of our success---it gives fans a reason to be rude.

However, one problem with the survey is that over 1/4 of the respondents do not go to CFB games...that is going to skew things quite a bit.
