And like most people with even a shred of talent, he left Oklahoma as soon as possible.

1) Has anyone really used the term "handle" since Burt Reynolds stopped making the Smokey movies?
2) I'm not the one who wandered into BP territory and immediately began trolling the locals about tats.
3) The term you're looking for is "bitch." So, in a word, yes.

Alternately,
1) Irish
2) Frequently
3) A matter of perception. The character of Lassie was female, but multiple collies that were used in the films were actually male.

10-4, Good Buddy.

For the record, Oklahoma is 2-9 all-time versus Notre Dame, including a 30-13 loss at home in 2012.

For the historians out there, Notre Dame was the team that snapped Oklahoma's historic 47-game winning streak (1953-1957). Of course, Ohio State won the national title in 1957 in part because the mighty Sooners got shut out by a mediocre Notre Dame team.
Bringing it.... as usual.

Oklahoma D excited for challenge of facing Greg Ward Jr., J.T. Barrett

NORMAN, Okla. -- The last time out facing an elite quarterback, the Oklahoma Sooners defense did not fare well.

After a slow start to last year’s Capital One Orange Bowl, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson exploded in the second quarter and finished the game throwing for 187 yards and a touchdown while rushing for another 145 yards and a score. Early in the fourth quarter, the Tigers had already put Oklahoma away, leaving a Sooners defense that had shined all season in shock.

“He pretty much opened our eyes,” Oklahoma nickelback Will Johnson said. “We knew he was good. But we didn’t think he was that good.

“It was definitely a learning experience. ... how much stronger we need to come as a team against a quarterback of that caliber.”

This September, the Sooners will get another crack to prove their mettle against an elite quarterback.

And then another.

No team in college football has a more daunting task this nonconference season when it comes to defending opposing quarterbacks than Oklahoma.

Cont'd ...

It would be great to win this game, but the more I think about it, the more I think it isn't important to either team.
If the loser of this game wins the rest of their games, including a conference championship game (does the Big 12 do that, this year?) then I say that they're in the playoffs.
If the winner of this game loses a conference game, there's a good chance that they're out of the playoffs, I think. I think it would all depend on whether they still won their conference championship.

I don't know. I think it matters to OU a lot more than it does to OSU in that OSU has a better chance at moving back up to top 4.

Say OSU wins, then drops a B1G game but wins B1G CCG. Now Oklahoma has to win B12 and is still down the head to head as it were.

If OSU loses they have to run the B1G which isn't going to be easy but would put them back in playoff spot most likely.
