What a bunch of worry warts--sheesh (every fucking week)!! The snow they are calling for is much better than rain. The forecast is for < 1" of snow and accuweather is predicting the afternoon snow won't even start until 3pm or later. Wunderground says the probability for snow during the game is <50%. It won't even be too cold.

Sparty will have great difficulty scoring on the Buckeyes and their D is over-matched regardless of weather. 42-3 Bucks.

I'll say this... makes me so proud to see these guys come back. As much as we all love TOSU goes to show you we got nothing compared to these guys.

A very underrated buckeye Huerman was... such a leader for that 14 championship year and he is quietly one of my favorite buckeyes.

I'll say this regarding this year's team though. We seem to have focused after our mid season lul and the one game at a time approach has really helped sharpen this team.

Yes they ruined our dreams last year and the last time we went to MSU with revenge on our mind we beat them soundly.

Now remove 4 offensive lineman, 2 good WR, AND their QB/RB on their offense and you have the recipe for a ass kicking.

I agree. What you say is rational. But since when are Ohio State Buckeye fans rational?

The case for being worried is this: Sparty has beaten Ohio State by limiting our passing game (Sparty D limited it in the B1G CG and the weather and our coaches did it last year), and by forcing us to get into an in-the-trenches, run in a tight box slog. They love to play that way. They are happy and comfortable to punt 15 times and win 9-7. Ohio State prefers to play a different way - with explosive plays from stretching the field, and the downfield passing game is crucial to being able to do that. It's not rain or snow that is the problem, but more so wind. Get us on a calm day with Michigan State, and I believe OSU would beat the living snot out of Sparty. If the weather becomes a de facto form of defense for Sparty, they get to play right-handed and we have to play left-handed, then an upset becomes a real possibility.

The answers to this problem are: 1) the Ohio State players embrace a lower-scoring slog and beat Sparty at their own game 2) Ohio State throws the ball downfield anyway, and forces the game to be played the way they want to play it. Either way, I don't care - as long as we get out of there with a win.
