My previous comments were not sour grapes.
I agree with you cwise that your previous statements do not sound like sour grapes. Which, for reference, I typically describe as - whining about the officiating favoring one team over another, playing what-if-only without acknowledging that the other team might also improve in another area - such as the Buckeyes 1st half 3-point shooting.
The only thing that comes close to that is the statement you made about the Buckeyes playing at a level all game yesterday equal to their second half level versus the Vols. I'd give you that 100% if Lewis, Conley or Cook had been draining threes at a reasonable rate. So, absent that I'll say 1st half at 80%, 2nd half at 110% - especially down the stretch.

Your guys played well, you have a good core coming back next year and have much to be hopeful about.

Joey Dorsey - Stock Down

Joey Dorsey talked plenty of trash before this game, calling Greg Oden a “little man,” telling the world that he’s “a lot like me,” and even going as far as to say that Oden is “a lot overrated.” In the end, he poetically got to see exactly how stupid his comments were, getting absolutely destroyed by the freshman big man on both ends of the floor and going a long way in showing scouts just how limited a player he really is.

Foul trouble stopped Dorsey from staying on the floor for more than a few minutes at a time, as Oden was just too big and strong for him to deal with on his own. He didn’t have the size to challenge his jump-hook, and wasn’t able to hold his spot on the block against him as he moved him around in the paint to establish position and dunk on him time after time.

Forget that he didn't score, what amazes me is that he did all that talk and was not credited with a single shot. How can you run your mouth and then not take a shot? Talk about being intimidated.

He's not part of our offense. His points this season came from putbacks (don't have those against OSU) and fastbreaks. He's not meant to score. Our guards are. We want post points, we go to Dozier or post up a guard, ala CDR on Butler a couple times.

Wait a moment, I thought Dorsey did take a shot? He whiffed on a dunk, which was how he got to the line for the 1-and-1, missing both of those too.

that doesn't count as an attempt. the only attempt that dorsey had was at the beginning of the game when he had that semi-wild shot underneath the basket while facing down the length of the court. the shot went way up in the air, and i don't think it even hit the rim. though oden didn't block the shot, he greatly affected it.
