Ohio State 76, Minnesota 60 (Final)

First of all, thanks for all the updates. Screw BTN.

Second, how is the crowd? Sellout? This is going to be a big win for these Buckeyes. 14-6 and 5-2 in the conference is so much stronger than 13-7 (4-3) at this point in the season.

I don't know if it was a sellout, but the crowd was pretty vocal at times. The game was a bit sloppy and as BKB said the refs were calling everything, so it was constantly being interrupted. Hard to keep that crowd momentum going. This game was much closer than the final score. Minny had lots of chances in this game, but couldn't take advantage.

Nice win against a pretty solid Big-10 team. Good to see Koufos get to the line 10 times and Jamar is as good a player as there is in the Big-10 when he's "on". Also, Evan Turner is a star in the making...that kid can just play. He's gonna get better and better as he gains more confidence.

It was GREAT to see them put a game away. After that Butler T, it looked like Minny would take it down to the buzzer. They responded strong. Minny looked outclassed by the Bucks, but tOSU got sloppy at times and let them hang around. This could have been a 40 point win, but great experience for this young team. Kofus played well on both ends, Turner continues to take a larger role, and Butler was just outstanding. Lighty never really got into the flow of this one. Twiggy was his usual self. Diebler had trouble getting open and had a couple of passes thrown his way when he wasn't looking that lead to turn overs. Hunter was solid.

Tonight we took a halftime lead, as we did versus Illinois, but when Minny made a run our boys responded and pulled away for the victory. That's a step up from the last game, as our young team continues to improve.

Good win. :osu:

Butler is playing like I always thought he should be aas a senior, Turner is playing like we all wished all the freshman would play. He had a lull at the start of the 2nd half but got back on the wagon.
KK played steadier than he has been and Hunter and Twigs give us solid minutes.
We may not be ready to take on the final four but we are playing better and thats encouraging.

Gonna have to say this is the best game we have played all season...

Great energy, great effort, great attitude...We were getting in position on the boards, and the crowd was into tonight, especially int he second half...

The main thing I want to hit on that I saw tonight, was them spreading the floor and letting Butler penetrate, get into the lane, pull up and hit some jumpers, and pass out and find the open guys...Even tho he struggled some turning the ball over with 5 turnovers, but he also had 9 assists...

I think if we can get 3 guys in double digits on a single night we are tough to beat, because we play so well on defense and it is just a matter of us finding ways to score...

Great game, hopefully the confidence continues as we have 2 very winnable games even tho we are on the road, and then we come back home for michigan and then the big one 2 weeks from today against IU...
