the kind of game we are playing right now leaves the outside open but makes life difficult for the bigs. if we change course the bigs will heat up and IMO that will result in a beat down.

Anyone else think this is a great episode of Monday Night Raw?


Argggggggg, I hate trailing to anyone, but I hate trailing to UF even more.

I know we have proven time and time again to be a second half team. The pace seems to indicate this is our type of game. I can't imagine we'll have another half where we miss that many 3 point attempts and are on the ass-end of the charity strip. Things have a way of evening out, much like we saw in the Tenn game. Good teams just don't stay that cold, thats why they are averages.

Agreed. If OSU is 4-12 and UF is 4-8 this game is tight. We just can't buy a shot. Someone needs to get hot for us.

After seeing some of the highlights we are doing something we haven't done all tournament: leaving our feet when passing... makes it much easier to pick off those passes (just saw both Butler and Lewis do this). The defense isn't playing quite as well as it has been... hopefully they come out in the second half fired up!

Well, some things that I see... I am watching the game in the living room but want to give my halftime thoughts.

1) We need to guard the three, that's what's killing us. They are raining threes and we're not there to stop them, I am sure Thad will make an adjustment there.

2) Oden needs to get his shot on, he's missing shots he should make.

3) Lewis needs to heat up and start getting some shots down, he seems like Georgetown got to him and now he's lost a bit of confidence, he needs to get that confidence back.

4) Oden needs to be more aggressive, he has 1 foul, and this is for it all, he needs to make his presence felt.

Having Conley in foul trouble is bad, but these guys aren't in that bad of a spot, Basketball is a game of runs and we're one run away, we have quite a few of Florda's players in trouble, so lets be aggressive and do some damage.
