Where in that quote from PlanetGator does it say that you want to switch the history of your program with ours? If its there I must have missed it. Would you not want your Buckeyes to hold the titles in basketball and football with an oppertunity to repeat the basketball? From your post I'm pretty sure the answer is that you would love to hold both, as any college fan would. There was nothing in there insulting your program/players/fan/school/anything else. That's not the point. Anyone would love to be on top in both sports, but that doesn't mean we want to trade spots with you. Had OSU won in football in january & completed the sweep this monday, would you be weeping and wishing you were a buckeye fan? Or would you be darn proud of your program, and see the extremely bright future with Meyer & Donovan, assuming they stick around?

College "dynasties" come and go. UF has had a great 1.5 year run, but will it last? Will Donovan take the UK job?

I would not trade places with UF as a bball fan. Your success is outstanding and worthy of praise, but the future looks more uncertain when it comes to the guy wearing the suit.

The FB/BB reversals continue, even here. The gator nation & team played up the disrespect angle so heavily in the football season, that hearing their comments you'd think everyone was calling for them to give up their football program. The reality was far more docile than what MANY claimed/embraced. Credit Meyer for exploiting this avenue, but it was certainly blown out of proportion.

Flashback to December. I sign up on a UF board, tell you how great we are, how you wish you were us... and suggest biting your pillow to get through the impending doom in Glendale. I highly doubt you would take kindly to that.

Hoping to dominate OSU and feeling your program is superior is one thing. I imagine you and planet share similar views. However, you conduct yourself in a much more civilized & tactful manner on BUCKEYEplanet, and the reception is notably different.

Well, that's it. The great sports genius and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Gregg (I'm such a genius I get an extra g) Doyel has pronounced that we have lost the NC game already. Of course, you may remember that he's had us losing every other big game down the stretch as well. So, this should be a real confidence builder.

Ohio State couldn't beat Florida in December, and Ohio State can't beat Florida in April.

Too bad these teams didn't play in February. The Buckeyes might have won a game then. Or at least made it interesting.

UF really surprised me with how easily they were able to beat UCLA. As I was watching that game, my stomach was churning. They looked unbeatable.

But then again, I think the media is underestimating how good our team is. Really, to go through a 40 game schedule and only lose 3 games on the road, to 3 top 10 teams? Quite amazing.

*Star freshman who will most likely leave after one year
*Playing a handful of close games and barely pulling out a W in a few of them
*Relativly new coach (2years for Tress 3 for Thad)
*A team that just seems to not be able to loose

*Championship game against a bitchy school from florida that is vastly favored over our boys

Maybe the analyst should try picking the opposite of what they believe, that might work out for them. They picked us to beat Texas with Vince Young-we lose, They picked us to lose with a new defence this year against Texas-we won, They picked Michigan to upset us this year-we won, They picked Memphis, Tennessee, Georgetown to beat us, we win. They pick us to Beat Florida in the Fooball National Championship-we lost. get it.......... Thats why i like when they pick against us, they only know as much as we do, and usually never go with the underdog, look where thats got them.
