Maybe someday we'll figure out we're not good at shooting three point shots.

For some reason I don't think that day is coming anytime soon...:(

It's tough to pass on wide-open looks. The other problem, is evertime they take it inside off the dribble, they panic and turn it over. Dallas picking up 2 early ticky-tack fouls hurt badly. His offensive game isn't very evolved, but he's a beast around the rim, and our most aggressive player. He'll make a HUGE difference in the second half assuming he can stay on the court.

Bilas raised a good point: leadership. I think we underestimated Jamar Butler's value, at times. We're still looking for someone to fill that void, the "coach on the floor" who settles things down when necessary.

But that's one of the reasons why you play these games in December. Get tested, grow and prepare for the conference season. That's where tourney bids are won and lost.

The first 5 minutes will probably tell us whether we're going to have a shot tonight, or not. Get this down to single digits by the 10 minute mark and try to make a move late.

If you are going to play in the top echelon you must be able to make your threes and play man D.

Syracuse has played Zone for decades, so I think it's more in how well you play it. The threes, of course, have to be better than what we have seen thus far.

This is our first real test this season. We should learn a lot tonight.

I don't see there being a leadership problem...

I see there being a problem of just needing a goto guy or a pg that can get the ball to guys that need it in spots where they need it...

I thought Crater was doing a very good job, and Simmons looking for the long 3 is not what we need out of the PG in a game like tonight, unless he is hot...

As for the 3 point shooting...We can shoot the rock...You gonna tell Diebler to stop shooting? Lighty?...Yeah it looks ugly tonight but the kid can shoot it and they are leaving him open he about has to take it...Buford?...Simmons?

We aren't getting into the lane and creating easy opportunities...

I'd really like to throw out Buford and Crater and just let them play(within our system obviously) without fear of being pulled quickly or anything.

I think a lineup or Lauderdal-Turner-Crater-Buford-Lighty/Diebler would be really good and fun to watch.

To much pitty pat on the perimeter and not enough penetration......

We are playing solid on defense........you can complain about the boards but with the match-up zone and lack of experience we are going to lose the battle on the boards most nights......Turner sitting for most of the half hurt us on the offensive side........I am really shocked how Lighty is struggling right now.......no one expected that......I say go with Lauderdale and Mullens........Crater.......Turner and Diebler and see what happens.........we need to find some production and playing Lighty at the 4 spot is not working tonight........

We are outstanding on defense overall. Our only flaw on defense is trasition defense. Our half-court defense is awesome.

Turner needs to quit driving to the hole(charging) and trying to throw it back to another player. All our guys are doing this. Thats why we are turning it over.

We need to move on offense. We are standing around. Its like they want to settle for the three. We need to drive and hit 8-10 footers.

I like our defense alot. If your gonna hang your hat on something its defense. The offense can always get better especially with the youth we have.

We are actually in this game. If we quit turning the ball over we can come back easily. They have scored alot on our turnovers and out of position fouls.

Damn the three blind mice need to start calling double bribble and travel.

I want to see Mullens and Lauderdale in together...Let them set some picks, work some back cuts, some pick n rolls, and do work on the defensive end...

I go with Crater, Turner, and Diebler...Then come in with Lighty, and make a push with 4 wings...

I'm not seeing enough inside presence on offense... Everytime Ohio State has the ball, it seems Mullins is out on the perimeter looking for a shot... Only problem with that, is there is almost absolutely no chance for an offensive rebound. It's frustrating, but let's hope Matta has keyed in on it.
