This team has a chance to be special!!!!!!!!

They are already playing seasoned...

Young guys stepped up...

Turner played an absolutely great game, and they played good on D...

Just imagine if B.J. can reach his potential...let's say about the time B10 conference play starts. Unbelievable.

How can you not absolutely love this team. So much heart. So much energy.

Thad Matta, :bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:

Turner. uh, uh, uhmmm.........brilliant!

We could concievably have the Big10 POY, Turner and DPOY Lauderdale on this young team. They have to keep playing hard but as of right now, they're serving notice.

The bench was outstanding tonight. Everyone contributed. I dont know of one guy who came in the game and didnt apply the pressure to Notre Dame.

Game balls for everyone.

It can't be understated how nice it is to have 2 legit PG's. And both played well and within the sytem today.

Jeremie hit some big free throws, and always gives you that outside threat. And Crater had some great penetration plays where he found open men for lay-ups or 10 foot shots. I thought Crater showed great maturity when there was 5 or 6 on th shotclock, the ND fans did the countdown thing with the clock, acting as if it was about to run out. He penetrated, the ND fans hit zero on their count, Turner was slashing and Crater found him with a beautiful chest pass (he has amazing passes with great zip) for a driving lay up.

I still think Turner needs another year...to get stronger and cut down the turnovers and improve the jumpshot...His 3 is not NBA ready yet...Reminds me a lot of Josh Howard...

that's a good comparison. I got to see Howard, live in person, when he played for Wake and he was a GREAT GREAT player. I'm not sure Evan is quite where Howard was as a sophmore, but when his mid-range game is on he's a handul.

The thing Howard has always had that Evan needs to continue to improve on is finishing at the rim. Evan makes a lot of great moves, leaves defenders in the dust, and then is unable to finish the play.

Howard and Turner were/are both average college shooters, which should be encouraging because Josh has developed a pretty decent outside game.
