Ohio State 67, #7 Notre Dame 62 (final)

Notre Dame has now lost 7 in a row to fall to 12-10 on the season. They're really watering down what, at the time, was an impressive OOC win back in December. It's still a good win, but clearly ND had no business being in the top ten.

Nevertheless, it's always nice to see the Irish get their assed handed to them, as UCLA did today.

From watching the lowlights from the game, it looked like Goaty played with pneumonia, and the only game where he was healthy was against tOSU. I didn't think that they were at top 10 team, but, I didn't expect them to be exposed as poor to average either.

Who would've thought prior to the season that Butler would be #10 in the RPI at this point and ND would be like #81? I guess things evened out - Butler was expected to have a down year, but they've done very well for themselves so far this season.

Actually, the performances of Butler and ND are almost the exact opposite of what you'd expect if you believe that experience is very important. Butler is one of the like 5 least experienced teams in the country while ND is one of the top-10 most experienced teams. I guess all that experience isn't helping ND much nowadays...

I did I did:biggrin2:

Seriously, the only really good consistent player that the Fighting Irish have is LH. You never really know how good a team from South Bend really is because they get so much love from the national media sometimes it blinds knowledgeable basketball fans:)
