For possibly being the best player in the league, I cannot get over how much Evan Turner turns the ball over.

Gophers are a tough team and the Bucks are up, but still a few things to fix at the half.

What I've noticed is that while Turner has his head up when he brings the ball up the court when he makes the decision to drive his head goes down and he ignores his teammates. This allows the opposing team to double him and slap at the ball. Result...turnover. He had both Buford and Deibler available on more than one occasion in the first half for kickout passes and didn't even see them.

On the one Lauderdale foul Diebler hit that three...When Madsen got fouled Diebler hit the three and got fouled. Thats foul on simmons at the end of the half was a joke. IMO if we can start to rebound better and hit a few more shots we will win by double digits...I really like how our D is playing...pretty good half but we were coller that we have been.

He definitely gets into stretches where he plays his "own" game.

Bucks getting sloppy with the passing. Shooting woes continue.

JON DIEBLER FOLLOW YOUR SHOT!!!!!! My goodness he would have 3-4 offensive rebounds if he would follow his shot...Don't leave him open though:biggrin:

Meh. Follow your shot is something Kiwanis coaches teach. If Jon follows his shot, and doesn't get the board it leads to easy breakouts. I'd rather have him circle back.

Ugh, why is the ball in Hill's hands with under 10 seconds on shot clock and he is trying to drive. We are trying to be way too cute this game, just make the regular plays, stop looking for the extra, extra pass. This team still hasnt shown it can pull away from teams when the chance is there.

Well when I played I could tell if I was long and hes not the only guy getting back. I can tell when I see 4 Gophers and one buckeye under the basket. I think he should follow his shot because that would be 3-4 more offensive possesions...kiwanis or not.

Minnesota is 18-4. They haven't been pulled away from very often.

Just win.

It's not that simple. The guards have specific roles when a shot goes up to rotate for defense. If that's his role he has to do it. If not, as mentioned it leads to 2 and 3 on 1 opportunities for the other team.
