I was very disappointed in that decision. Easily could have gotten that first down I'm so frustracted, mad, and disappointed i might throw up.

Easily? Based on what?

There was no choice but to punt at that point. We needed to hold them to 3 and out but we couldn't do it.

Folks, that was a very good team we played tonight. We played them tough but we made more mistakes than they did and we lost.

You fail at handling adversity. The season isn't over, that will be proven next the team suits up and takes a field.

I question fans who feel seasons are only about winning out, making the title game, and/or winning the conference. Are these critical goals? Absolutely. My question is in regards to 'fans' figuratively throwing teams away just because goals aren't or won't be met.

Finally, why do you care what the media says? Do you really need talking heads and opposing fan bases to respect Ohio State in order to enjoy the sport and team as a spectator?

The disappointment from preseason expectations for tOSU should be worn out by now. Watch the first three games again, and I think you'll be amazed by how they played tonight. Move on.

PSU is the #3 team in the nation and they played like it tonight.

The truth is it came down to an untimely fumble, and it could have just as easily happened to PSU.

Open up the playbook all you want, PSU played disciplined defense and tackled well, and for now Pryor has his limits. So does the o-line, but that is nothing new.

A loss sucks, but when it comes down to our known quantities, what would you have done differently?

The problem was that TP was thrust into the starting position without being 100% prepared. Mistakes like the fumble and the INT are going to happen. What is frustrating is that he was thrust into this position in the first place. And with the rumors of possible transfers in the QB position, he is going to be even more "the man". Not the optimum situation, even with someone of the talent of TP.

All valid points, but there's a reason he was thrust into the position. He's the best man out there.

Great Game Tough Loss

Penn state was impressive.
To miss a big field goal, lose their all star quarterback, and still come out with a win is amazing. I hope they have a good rest of the year and represent the Big Ten well.

The Good:
- Our defense finally played very well against the Spread. We were quick, we were aggressive, we were blitzing from all over and getting tons of pressure.
- The DL played very well most of the game.
- Our offense looked great at times when we would open it up a little and let TP throw the ball. Think of Szanesbaker on one drive and Ray Small on the final drive.

The Bad:
- The play calling of Coach JT is way too conservative. We will never win big games if we arent willing to take risks. He needs to give up the Play calling to some one younger and more willing to take risks. The offense was too predictable. Think if our offensive play calling was as aggressive as our defensive play calling tonight we would have surely won.
- The OL was subpar the entire game. We need to fix that this offseason by recruiting OL because the games are won in the Trenches.
- Although DL played well most of the game, when it counted most, they game up two consecutive first downs to PSU on their final drive on very predictable runs.

The Future:
- TP will mature and make better decisions.
- Beanie will become more vocal and become more of a factor, I hope.
- For a rebuilding year we have done well thus far.

My Outlook:

- If Coach JT continues with what i call his Tresselervativeness (conservativeness), we will probably lose another game or two this season.
- If he gives up play calling to someone more risktaking we will be back in no time and next year's outlooks will be very bright.
- Personally, I can not take Coach JT play calling anymore, too predictable, too conservative, and too passive. Its almost like he lacks all confidence in his team's ability.
- Its time for OSU to make the next leap into greatness and that begins with a new play caller.

Blame Corso.....he picked us to win today....

Believe it or not this was the first time he put on the Brutus head and we lost. We won every time until tonight.

I just hope it takes Penn State another 30 years to win one in our house.

JT is a conservative coach, plain and simple. I doubt that he is going to change nor do I think he should. However, does anybody think that the playcalling should be handed over to an offensive coordinator? ( I don't think Bollman is the man for that job, he needs to be line coach only.)

Absolutely. It is true, but unfortunate, that is my point. That and freshmen mistakes are going to happen.

 That is really mutilating it. Sanzenbacher. Good try, though, it is a tough one.

My thoughts..

Tonight I saw two teams that were more equal than any other two teams I've ever seen play. The one team got a big turnover and took advantage of the short field.

Our defense played more than well enough to win the game. PSU won the field position battle, and that was the game.

Good game, PSU.

The Shoe was fucking rocking.
