That was fucking ridiculous. We gave up three offensive rebounds.

A three second lane violation is called when?

OSUScoonie12;762908; said:
How was there not an over-the-back or foul called when Conley got bulled over?

Exactly.... refs swallowing their whistles.

How was there no foul call on that loose ball?
Man, an awful lot of whining, for a game that the Buckeyes eventually won. Some of you need to get a grip.

I call 'em as I post 'em

But Conley did get run over going for a rebound and Harris was tackled going for a loose ball. That's just an observation. It's not my fault that the refereeing has sucked all year long in the Big Ten, not just this game.

I should go back and clean up the language though.

play of the game: matta putting back in his mouth the gum that dropped to the court. if he doesn't put that gum back in, who knows how the game would have ended. good call, matta. that decision set the tone for the remainder of the game.

Play of the week!

OK. I've never been more pissed off watching a basketball game than today. Guys have already mentioned how tired they are and I completely concur with all the emotions spent just watching. First off Fuck Duke!!! I missed the first 3 minutes of the game to watch the last minute of a beating on St. Johns!!?? WTF! The game of the week, or season depending how you look at it, and I'm watching this P.O.S.? Absolutely brutal. I'm watching the game tape delayed since I was recording it due to work, so I'm about 15 minutes past actual time. The first half I was pleased with the efforts of our upperclassmen. Butler was cold but Ron Lewis, yes I said Ron Lewis, and Ivan Harris had great halfs. Lewis has to guard Tucker in man-to-man and he's actually attacking the basket! Good job Ron! Harris is also attacking and making his shots. His D has been good early on also.

If I were Greg Odens parent I would be filing rape charges immediately! The kid is being absolutely abused and getting no satisfaction from the zebras! How Matta avoided a T I'll never know. I never would have been able to myself. Greg stoically handled it all again, just the way he has all season.

We're up halftime which I'll take considering the run Wisky had both last time and this time. Second half more of the same. Too many turnovers, we cannot rebound in the zone! Its killing us and Greg continues to get abused with no relief in sight. This team is oh-so gritty though!

Mike Conley you are THE MAN!!! Everyone go to the "Whose your MVP" thread and change your votes to Mike. Always poised and in control of every game. He is the catalyst and the go to guy. His defense sets the tempo and his penetration guides our offense. Once again great job Mike.

Now for the 3rd time to be pissed off! With :3.4 seconds left on the clock and Wisky's ball down one, my DVR decides to quit recording!!! I totally missed the last plays of the game!:sob: :pissed: :pissed:

Luckily I log on to find it went our way, once again today aided by Ron Lewis, who I would give the game MVP to. Not his best offensive game but his total effort, especially on Tucker, was awesome. Those of you who recorded this game go back and watch. He had a couple of breakdowns, but Tucker is probably the Naismith winner if they dont give it to Durant.

WOOHOOO!!!!! BIG 10 CHAMPS BABY!!! PROBABLE #1 SEED IN THE DANCE AND WHAT A RIDE ITS ALREADY BEEN!!!!

Ok. Now to go pass out.:dead:

I totally understand where these guys are coming from! Being a football first school for the last hundred years, its fantastic seeing so much passion about the basketball team! I love it.

perhaps the best part of today's game, besides the obvious, is that conley's last-second shot might have boosted his confidence to take the team's reins. for him to take the shot is one thing. for him to make the shot is quite another. conley's play is just huge for the team in more than one way.

That is certainly something to hope for.

Yep and I think Matta is starting to use him as a defensive stopper as well.

A lot of the first half he played on Tucker. The last part of the 2nd half he spent on Bohannon after Bohannon made that last 3.
