I'm not sure but I think our RPI is better if we lose to a ranked team rather than a lesser team. I think SOS might figure into the RPI but not sure.

RPI Formula= 1/4*(Win Percentage)+1/2*(Opponent's Win Percentage)+1/4*(Opponent's Opponent's Win Percentage)

So, yes, it would help a lot more if they win those games, but them playing good teams will help our RPI.
