Game Thread Ohio State 33, Washington 14 (Final)

YOu gata be kidding me? Sure Boeckman has been shaky but he's our only hope. This game is pissing me off because we are doing the SAME things that we did in the first two games. We turn the ball over, we are passing/running in the wrong situations, and they have just been shooting themselves in the foot.

Locker is a great player, but so good that he can't be contained what so ever? I mean what a joke of a performance in the first half by our defensive coordinators. UW has drove the ball ever single drive we have not done ANYTHING. If not for Animals INT this game could be already getting out of reach with the way our play calling has been on BOTH sides of the ball.

Saine has a 28 yard gain running outside, so what do we do next? Lets run inside for 1 yard. Beanie rips off 12 yards, what do we do next? Lets pass the ball and screw up any momentum we've had.

Personally I think the offense is fine and we have been moving the ball fairly consistent but this game should be 13-7 BUCKS. We have just screwed up thats all. I sure hope the defense can get a stop the first drive out or else it could get out of range with how we are making mistakes.

Couple observations...Marcus Freeman is getting toasted when Locker takes off, and Todd needs to throw the football with some authority.

And I love Beanie, but can't say enough about Saine. He's going to special.

Homan needs to replace Freeman in the second half. He has wiffed on 3 tackles for an extra 40+ yards for Washington.

Relax...There are two halves to every game. We cannot let them score in the second half. We need to get agressive and tis delayed blitz stuff has got to stop...blitz or no blitz.

I predicted 9-7 at the half...it should be.

Man I've been thinking this since game one! Not trying to bash Todd, but I don't think he's the future. Henton is. I'd love to see them go with him this year and let him get comfortable running the spread so we can have him ready for a national championship run next year!

But back to today. I agree that this is a game we SHOULD win. Just gotta quit making mistakes.

I don't think the QB is completely to blame our kicking is very shaky and that certainly doesn't help things....

so much for kick it and play defense.

we're playing solid defense but we need to shore up the kicking game and open the offense up a bit more, which I'm sure we will because we're playing from behind now but no need to panic yet.

If we get down by more than three scores it's panic time.

But I still like our chances right now.
