You're mistaken... I clearly remember him getting dragged into the end zone by Wells on his TD run

What a rush
Buckeyes run for 304 yards in victory over Illini

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

KYLE ROBERTSON | DISPATCH
Ohio State defensive back Kurt Coleman (4) returns an interception deep in Illinois territory.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Chris "Beanie" Wells and Terrelle Pryor each topped 100 yards rushing, and the Ohio State defense delivered big plays often on ferocious blitzes as the 10th-ranked Buckeyes knocked off Illinois 30-20 today in windy and cold Memorial Stadium. A year after the Illini pulled a shocking upset of No.1 OSU in Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes methodically hammered the Illini and their high-powered offense, led by the Big Ten's leading passer Juice Williams. The Buckeyes (9-2, 6-1) rolled into the regular-season finale against rival Michigan and are in the running for at least a share of their fourth straight Big Ten championship.
OSU is tied for first place with Penn State and Michigan State, who will meet a wqeek from today. If OSU and Penn state win, PSU would gain the league automatic berth in a BCS bowl game, probably the Rose Bowl, by virtue of the Nittany Lions' win over the Buckeyes. If that were the case, OSU would be a prime candidate in the BCS at-large pool. If OSU and Michigan State win, the Buckeyes would be the league's BCS qualifier by virtue of its win over Michigan State.
The Buckeyes are riding two straight dominant road performances, including the win 45-10 win at Northwestern a week ago. Today, with the score tied at 7, cornerback Malcolm Jenkins set the tone with block of an Illinois punt that went out of bounds for a safety. Up 9-7, OSU never trailed.

Well this offense has been racking up 500 or so yards against EVERYONE. I believe they're the highest ranked offense in the big ten if i'm not mistaken?? They've got big strong and talented athletes and they were going to get their yards (which they did). Did we play our best defensively? not really, but we did affect the QB and had our moments as well.

Things get easier this week though as we face a struggling offense, but with the way they run their offense it could give us some fits if we don't play disciplined.

I am not worried about the yards. What worried me the most was the missed tackles, especially in the first half.

I DID love to see all the blitzes today. We need more of that !
If our line gets after the QB and we blitz like we did in the 2nd half today, next week will be an epic beatdown.

Like i've already said those Illinois players are ALOT bigger than we realize.

Cumberland is like 250
Juice I think I saw was over 220
Ford is 220
Dufrene is over 205
Benn is heavy (not sure how much though)
Their Tight end is also heavy as well.

from experience i'm telling you it's hard to tackle guys with those thick legs. Your arms just tend to slip right down someone who's that strong. Now of course there's no excuses but we're never going to face another team with players that big. We missed the most tackles today moreso than any other game but I think it was the athletes from Illinois rather than us not tackling well.

They actually went over Mark May's comments on the 1460-AM postgame show.

Says some people don't watch the Ohio State game nationally, and May and/or ESPN shouldn't just rip Ohio State with their one comment if they didn't watch the first half or just becasue they don't like Ohio State.

Still can't believe that May said, "Terrelle Pryor is a freshman. He'll make freshman mistakes. He'll throw and interception or fumble or something."

That was his contribution.
