Not with anyone that matters. The next time we beat one of these [censored]heads, all who were talking [censored] will come crawling back.

Oh, and congrats USC. You played lights out tonight. You deserve the #1 ranking as far as I can [censored]ing tell.

Unfortunately, voters matter. Polls matter - at least as far as what bowl you go to.

Yup.. the team will be humbled this year. I expect that our ranking is going to drop lower than we've seen in a while. I still expect to make it to a BCS bowl game.

This, unfortunately, is an experience that could really help our freshmen in the future..

But i don't know....I guess Buckeye fans are numb to being killed in big games now.

No, fans are hopeful and optimistic, you are just acting like a troll. What do you want? Should they fire JT? Should they change the recruiting? Go for the bottom 20 guys? Personally, I am over your comments, you just seem to be trolling for responses at this point.

I think we should change the colors and tear down The 'Shoe. Just mho.

Donna Summers there Chief! IMO there are definitely coaching decisions to be made, but to queston JT is absurd. IMO, JT needs to make some CEO type decisions with the men around him. we cant do the same things over and over and expect a different result.

Can Gene Smith decide to come in and fire some assistants and hire who he wants or can he only pressure JT to make changes? I'm not saying I think this should happen, just curious about if he could do that.

All things said and done tonight, I have to hand it to #33. He played like a beast through the final play. I saw him, nearly standing straight up, stop one of SC's RB's with a full head of steam, near the goal line. I hadn't seen a stop like that in years. (Maybe since the Katzenmoyer days?!?!?!). I respect James' leadership, even if there doesn't seem to be many others following.

Oh, and I'm a big fan of the idea of Pryor getting the start at this phase of the season. I would have to liken it to Troy taking over the reigns after the Texas loss in '05, it may be rough at the start (Penn St) but the experience will far outweigh the speed bumps.

How frustrating is it to be executing your game plan well, and just have some events (the pick-six, the missed field goal, crucial false starts and holding penalties) keeping you down so far? Having outgained USC at the half, we were down by 18 points. It still boggles my mind, and it seems at times that this game was predetermined...but Calvinist thoughts aside, I feel that this team can and will compete for the Big Ten title. Especially with Beanie back. I'm optimistic, even after such a showing.

Keep your heads high, we're Buckeyes. Let the Wolverines whine about down years.

Great point - I remember thinking during the game that this is great for Herron, Saine, and Pryor. The linemen too.

We're going to take a beating but this is a good learning experience for players and coaches both.

We'll be back. We'll slip down to 10 or 12 or worse this week, go 9 and 3 and end up in a decent bowl.

I felt queasy this year when JL came back for the senior year. It's just not that easy.

I was disappointed with the O line, and surprised by Todd's interceptions, but everything else was pretty much what I expected. Especially playing on the road, with Pac 10 refs.

I just don't think JT is going to make a lot of changes mid-season.

We'll beat Troy without Beanie and then he has 8 games left to get his Heisman.

Great game by USC... who will probably end up losing a game or two themselves. It's just college football, played by kids.

What are you talking about? And how am i being a troll

I made one little comment in the thread and someone wants to make a smart little remark. So i further explained my opinion and here we are now. But to answer your question, Well i don't know maybe putting the best players on the field would be a good start. The team gave up on Todd and everybody saw it happen weather you want to say it or not.

well that sure sucked...

ding away, but our O-line is friggin' terrible. quit shaving 'z's in each others' heads and fucking block somebody. our D-line isn't much better. the ends got too far up field and lost contain. our D-tackles are non-existent.

as for TB... * tries to refrain from bashing.* it's not all his fault (after all, our line is more interested in cutting each other's hair than blocking) but c'mon. you're the senior QB, Todd. how about you show some poise?

no, OCBuckfan, they shouldn't fire JT. however, JT seriously needs to dump his OC (the O-line coach). our DC should be looking for a job as well. rushing three on 3rd and a mile only to give up the first on a running play FIVE FREAKING TIMES? *pukes*

i'm cool with getting beat. what i'm NOT cool with is sitting back and (trying to) react on defense. only to fail. over and over and over. what ever happened to the defense attacking and forcing the issue?

and we're 3 games in. can we PLEASE throw a deep ball? shit.

ok. i'm done.
