Game Thread Ohio State 3, Southern Cal 35 (Sept. 13)

Guys, we have caught the perfect storm. Nothing we are doing is working. Everything they are doing is working perfectly......

But I guarentee one thing the sun will come up tomorrow and the Buckeyes will be back....
What goes around will come around.....

I think this game will be very interesting regardless of the outcome. After seeing the last two BCS championships games, im afraid to admit that I have bought into the "we are slower than them" argument. How could I not, our WR couldn't get open, theirs(LSU & FLA) had no problem getting open. We couldn't get any rush with our front four, they had no problem getting a rush with their front four. Did the layoff affect us, or is our team just that much slower? Im not sure, but I think I will have a pretty good idea by halftime.

I now know my answer.

I'm done for the night. Time to put Point Break in the dvd player. Johnny Utah could beat SC.

Seriously, this is not a top 5 team or program right now. I'm still hoping for a Big Ten title, beating Michigan and our once per decade Rose Bowl trip.

Life goes on. I'm still proud of Tressel, still proud of everything Ohio State University has accomplished and continues to accomplish and still proud to be an alumnus of this great university. At the end of the day, this is just a football game, and I'm not going to let it ruin a good Saturday night.
