Too soon old, too late smart
Thomps, avoid the 405 like the plague! Go out the 210 and slide down south on the ?56?. Actually I'll take the 5 and exit by the Coliseum and park on some one's lawn for $5.
USC has more 5*s as their 2's than most have as their 1's. Home town advantage and the way USC has played in big games will give them the edge (OSU hasn't exactly been outstanding in it's last two 'big' games - the BCS championships). I'm betting USC is favored by 10.
Ultimately who cares, unless you've got some money to squander with your bookie? Let USC be favored. In fact, our boys seem to play better when the other team is favored, so let USC have the bulls-eye on their back. Tress & Co will have them prepared to do battle, as it's probably not going to get OSU to the BCS championship unless they beat USC. Everyone is looking to blacklist OSU from the national championship if there's one glimmer of a way they can do it.
