Game Thread Ohio State 20, Wisconsin 17 (Oct. 4)

I know it probably doesn't mean much coming from someone who is so new to the boards, but Congratulations on an outstanding win last night.
I watched it with friends and we all marveled at the resolve that Mr. Pryor displayed. It's something that can't be taught.

I know since I'm a SEC fan - most everything I post is taken with a grain of salt. But my feelings are most sincere on this point: Congrats on a great win!

TP is a monster, 4-5 defenders have to get him down on each play. My only knock is that he hangs onto the ball too long and takes a sack when he could easily throw it out of bounds. With a little bit of seasoning, some reps and a full off-season, this kid will win the Heisman.

Re: Hartline's fumble to Robiskie - it didn't seem to me that Hartline made a football move before losing that ball. That catch-fumble gets reviewed and I think it goes to third-and-long?

The "football move" rule has been changed. A receiver simply needs possession and to get his foot down. Hartline actually took a step or two with the ball. It was clearly a catch.

It seemed to me like he was still bobbling the football when he was hit

Somebody mentioned this earlier, but how about Ross Homan? He played an excellent game highlighted by when he stuffed the 2nd down Wisky goal line play there on their last score and would have stopped em on 3rd down as well if he hadn't been held from behind

Ah! Those memories of 2002 come flooding back! Low scoring, tight defensive struggles. Antacids close at hand. I watched standing the entire second half. I think a lot of faith has been restored and the nation will have taken notice. (Mark May did)
:oh:
