The flying of unauthorized drones at stadiums prompts safety concerns

No mention of Ohio State being involved in any way, but the old girl made the cover.

Was there for Pink Floyd's Division Bell tour in 1994.

Columbus Mileposts | May 28, 1988: ’Shoe hosts 64,000 Pink Floyd fans

A laser-light show version of Pink Floyd’s trademark inflatable pig wowed a crowd of 64,000 screaming fans on May 28, 1988, at the first rock concert at Ohio Stadium.

Only three times since have acts attracted bigger crowds. And the biggest concert ever in the city was Pink Floyd’s 1994 return that drew more than 70,000 people.

The 1988 show featured a stage that soared 76 feet into the air, a sound system that boasted 200,000 watts of power and a laser show.

I was at the 1994 Pink Floyd show and the 2003 Metallica show. I gotta say that it's weird to be there for something other than football.

Relevant because of Ohio Stadium as a concert venue.
This is a pretty good article about great bands holding concerts in College Football Stadiums.

The Rolling Stones live at Ohio Stadium is mentioned but I would have love to have been at the Beach Boys and Fleetwood Mac live at CU's stadium :)

Tbh Folsom Field has pretty terrible acoustics. I was a band geek and we did CU Band Day every year as a kind of preseason before Regionals. As one of the Directors explained privately, we kept going there b/c our philosophy (emphasis on music) meant we'd always score low. The competition would get lax thinking they'd accomplished something, and we'd buckle down and stop goofing off. It was a way to transition from August fun to September/October grind.
