So this heat wave has ruined our ski trip plans, so we're looking for a cabin or a secluded lodge to get away. In the past we have gone to Hocking Hills which does not have much availability last minute, but we're not going to be doing any hiking so I could really be anywhere within 3 or so hours of Columbus. If anyone has any suggestions for good spots they have gone to before it would be much appreciated.

Or you could go the thump route and offer something homophobic instead. Preferably I would like you to do both or the former but I'll accept any and all answers. I'll hang up and listen

My basement is devoid of hookers at the moment. Not even any blood stains anymore.

I know up by the lake might be cold and windy, but Port Clinton is a nice spot....plus it won't be overcrowded this time of year.

The state parks website will list the parks with cabins and availability. Most are a good value and there's a wide range of amenities available at the different locations. Punderson, Salt Fork, and Geneva are some of my favorites.

I don't know if you can still get a cabin at Oglebay, WV it gets kind of crowded over Christmas as they have the festival of lights there, but they have a nice lodge and cabins available with plenty of stuff to do including hiking, golf, etc. They have a drive through light display throughout the resort so it gets kind of busy at night.

Is Heuston Woods Lodge still open? Should be less than three hours driving from C'bus, and you can play the golf course there. We've got plenty of snow out West, Tahoe is loaded, fly in and stay in Reno, and ski Heavenly. Access from South Shore and Reno side.
