Academic issues have put the availability of two Ohio University football players in doubt for the team's game against Troy in the New Orleans Bowl on Saturday in the Louisiana Superdome.
Quarterback Boo Jackson and defensive tackle Ernie Hodge, both seniors and starters, did not travel with the team yesterday.
A team spokesman said it might not be known until Friday whether Jackson and Hodge would complete their work in the classroom and be eligible to play.
This is the second time this season that Jackson has had problems off the field. Two weeks before the 11th game of the season, he was knocked unconscious and suffered a concussion outside a restaurant and bar in Athens. No charges were filed, although a source said Jackson considered suing for assault.
...

boo jackson physical is able to play after his bar fight a couple of weeks ago, however did he make the grades to play?

Looks like at least another year before Ohio's First & Finest can notch bowl win number one. I'm heartbroken.
:slappy: was wondering if we'd see you start dancing on their grave ...

this could end up as one of the worst blow-outs tonight.

(Which is hilarious as the studio "experts" had this pegged as closest game of the day - but, you know, then they started to play).
