I think I’d tend to agree with this. And thats no knock on TSC, who is still an amazing talent

Not trying to sound like a homer but Ewers had a great release, that ball looked beautiful coming out, but I like the ability to move that Tavion brings. I guess I expected more from Ewers, I think it can be argued that the look of Ewers in HS vs College have been different, I do not see a 1.00 overall average of play. Before you think it, I know Tavien is only in HS and plays much weaker competition from what Ewers did. I just remembering the mile high expectation that Ewers had coming out, how he would ‘Translate perfectly’ To the college game. Tavien has already climbed a mountain in some regards, at least in terms of rank. Just my opinion. I’ll take the Homer labl if it fits.

One last effort to make my point. J. Clowmey, DE of pretend USC, did play like a 1.00 guy IMO. he got quite at times but was always somehow able to make a play that flipped the feel of the game. Does it matter if he’s .98 or 1.00? I guess not, but Ewers looks like a solid QB 1, not one of only a handful of players to play in modern times. Not putting that expectation on Tavien, just think the argument is there for an Apples to Apples comparison between the two high school QB prospects.

He's the best QB prospect from Ohio I've seen, and it's not particularly close.
Drew Allar was the #3 overall for 247 and there is a sizable gap between the two players.
He has the highest 'pro potential' since 2018 with Trevor Lawrence.
I think Sayin is the clear favorite for next year to start but TSC is going to be on his rear if he's an early graduate.
Justin Zwick or Art Schlichter?

Big Ben?

As you could’ve probably guessed, this kid is the real deal. You can tell he’s held back a bit by the level of competition he’s playing in, but the decision making is already there. Ridiculous vision when tucking the ball and running, almost looks effortless rolling out of the pocket. He also isn’t afraid to get the ball out and let his receivers make plays on the ball. Big fan of the fact that he doesn’t just try to “out-athlete” opposing teams. He had a receiver tonight that broke a 27 year old school record for receiving yards in a game. His running style reminds me a bit of Terrelle Pryor, almost glides out there, but a much more polished passer. Had some absolute dots to receivers on the sideline while in the pocket.

Hoping to see him play again towards the end of the season/playoffs.
