2026 OH OL Will Conroy (Oklahoma Verbal)

Ahhh, the vagaries of recruiting. Use an analogy of the waves of the ocean. Up, down, up, down, constantly changing. Youth listening to one thing, liking it, listening to another, and liking that as well. Remember that chair game, where people circle chairs, and when the music stops, everyone grabs a seat, leaving one person without, and putting them out. Maybe a ploy on his part to get tOSU to step up their game? Perhaps, but has been tOSU's 'plan' (in the past), to work on the OOS recruits, and leave the in-staters for later. Unfortunately, the Ohio kids get annoyed at this, and get PO'ed at the Buckeyes. Now, I recognize that this has changed, and now the in-staters are getting early attention, so guess I'm admitting have no clue on this one. Go Bucks!

Matt Parker says things are progressing well between Ohio State and Will Conroy. They lost touch for a few months but got back in touch over the summer and the relationship has been progressing good ever since.

Ohio State looking to be in a good spot to go 4/4 on the instate OL class of Riley, Greer, Guthrie and Conroy. Add Micah Smith to that then chase Immanuel Iheanacho.

What, are we/you saying that tOSU has the makings of another 'Brew Crew'? Would that that would be the case! Wonder if it's the way the OL has risen to the 2024 occasion? And, following that thought, hopefully against Oregon this week, then Nebraska, then Penn St, and lastly against Michigan (well, not lastly, but leading to the NCAA playoffs). If the OL put the brakes on the Iowa D, reputably one of the best, can/does show that Frye (and Chip methinks) can coach 'em up. Hopefully we'll see this carry through, and Brody's list above will all sign up with the good guys. Go Bucks!

USC, Oklahoma, Missouri, Florida and Miami are others involved in Conroy’s recruitment and while the 2026 high three-star offensive guard loved his visit to Michigan earlier this season, he is still Ohio State’s to lose.
The Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius standout had another outstanding time during a recent visit to Columbus and the Buckeyes are definitely looking strong at this point.
