2026 OH OL Adam Guthrie (Verbal Offer)

Bring in the big fella from Washington Courthouse. You would almost have to be lost to end up in the town, but our bus driver has the memory that a GPS couldn't replicate. The great Nathan Williams was our last product from there. Loved him at Ohio State, but didn't love explaining in my best man speech how many times I "accidentally" didn't see him blitzing my best friend lol.

This kid seems like a no brainer to me, especially with the other Ohio OL seeming to be on the fence.

Can only guess that he saw the best performance of the OL in the last two years. Missed some great runs, because was watching the Buckeye OL open some holes that even I could gain 5 through. Having Donovan back certainly helps, but believe (?) saw more than several gaping holes in the right side of the OL, that both Trey and Q ran through. Maybe caught Iowa overloading the D on our left side, but the holes were there and exploited. Here's hoping that the recruits will tune in to the Oregon game, and see the same thing once more. Go Bucks! PS, congrats Adam!

Well, he looked pretty good at run blocking, and his pass pro checks out (although the DL was 1/2 his size), so sign him up. Get him on the tennis court (to work on footwork at the net), and he'll be set.

Hoping that Coach Mick has already honed in on that one for him, Bestbuck. Back in Woody's day, lot of weight slopped over the belt buckle. Today's young folk carry it up in their chests and legs. When you get older, that 'upper pyramid' becomes an 'inverted pyramid', with the weight slipping to the belt buckle. Anyway, no one seemed to mention him 'playing angry', or violent. Let's find some OL guys that have those attributes as well.

Kid reminds me of Taylor Decker coming out of Vandalia Butler in all the right ways. Country kid with great measurables and work ethic. Earned his offer and while I like a lot of the other Ohio OL in his class, I think he is right there with them and would be thrilled to have his commitment. On3 got that one right.
