He fills the hole with the instincts of a LB and plays the ball like he’s the receiver. Can’t ask for more than that from your free safety. I’m glad the staff got on him with a year left until signing day. He reminds me of how Koi Perich looked in the AA game.

BK said Cody Haddad broke his arm at the beginning of his junior season so he missed all but 4 games (2 regular season and 2 playoff games). In those 4 games back, he tallied 42 tackles, 3 forced fumbles and 4 INTs. I’d say that’s pretty good.

I think he meant at the DB position. Seems we are almost locks for Delane, Brew, and McNutt and already have the 3 corners committed. Not sure what the number is, but I see 6 as being right.

Gotcha, and yeah 6 seems to be the magic number. But it would suck to lose Haddad. Hell flourish at Wisky

Day has given Matt G free reigns to pursue the S prospects that he thinks will fit the defense. Idk if Eliano would’ve pursued Cody this hard this early.

Ransom leaves after this season, and Downs is gone by the time they hit campus. Who know with the 2023 and 2024 classes, but let’s be honest, we always have to think of the Portal. That’s 3-4 S lost to the draft and/or the Portal. OSU can get 4 in 2025. And Brew and he are versatile enough where Brew can play up to 3 positions depending on how grows, and Haddad can play up to 2 depending on his growth
