2024 OH CB Terhyon Nichols (Kentucky Verbal)

With the Powers decommitment, he's getting a lot of attention from fans. But Nichols is the one that Birm and BK think has a better chance of being a Buckeye. More of the KJ Bolden, athletic, cover S role.

I would agree with that, Nichols would be much preferred over Powers in my book. More explosive, better in coverage, and equally willing to hit someone. And as you said, Powers is more in the ilk of Stover, so I don't see a fit there as much as I would with Nichols.

Four-star Ohio safety Reggie Powers decommitted from Michigan State last month, but there only appears to be mild interest from OSU’s end in the Centerville product at this time. Ohio State has maintained some contact with Kentucky defensive back commit Terhyon Nichols, and it will be interesting to see if anything materializes between the Cincinnati product and the Buckeyes before National Signing Day.
