BOOOOOOOMMMMMM! I was just about to joke that I keep coming into the recruiting forum every day expecting another blue-chip recruit committing to the good guys and then I click on Tegra's thread and see it happened. Amazing get and huge deal to lock him down early. He is one of the best OL in the nation and super high upside, incredible build for a future OT. And there is some saying about OL from Ohio having special powers I hear. Welcome aboard Tegra! Have a feeling he will be a critical leader in this class and a building clock for our future OL.

yes, sophomore. in years past I’d write off kids from West because the previous coaching staff (Larry Cox) liked to make themselves the focus of recruiting to the point that several schools (LSU, Alabama) stopped looking at West kids.
With Bolden now at West (former Colerain coach) and already having established relationships with Ohio State from Coombs, Meyer and now Day, you can be assured that Ohio State is on good ground here and if the kid goes elsewhere it won’t be because he isn’t getting sound guidance.

with that said, Colerain and West didn’t play this season so I don’t have a first hand scouting report at this time. but if West is starting a sophomore at OT with their depth, that speaks loudly to me.
