OG Tegra Tshabola (Official Thread)

  • On how Tegra Tshabola and Austin Siereveld performed at guard. "I thought they both did a really good job for their first extensive playing time there. ... It was a lot of guys' first time stepping on the field in the Horseshoe. ... I think once those guys got settled, we started to get into a pretty good rhythm."

This kid might have been our MVP yesterday. Absolutely was smothering defenders and then getting to the next level. If you're an interior OL and catch the eye of fans in a good way, you did a great job.

Bump this thread up for Tegra, I mean it when I say I think he had to have a grade about as high as possible. I see why he won the job, he doesn't just get on a defender but just makes them sorry they exist. Gotta give the big man some love. He was blocking some DL up into the popcorn vendor, pretty impressive work.

Tegra has done a solid job at RG this year. He and Sevierveld (sp?) will be standouts on next years OL.
It definitely makes you feel better about the succession plan and OL going forward right? It was something we were all concerned with and seeing guys like Tegra and Austin step up really instills some faith in you. Really looking forward to Tegra matching up against Oregon's defense, which is darn good up front.
