OFFICIAL: "What were you thinking?"...Michigan Week Thread

Inexcusible. Disown her, slap her, do whatever. Don't go to the wedding. Tell her it was your big day, and you weren't going to fuck it up by going to a dumbass wedding. Were it I in your position I would take the abuse from the rest of my family for not going to the wedding.

On a slightly related note, my girlfriend's aunt had her reception (they got married in Florida) on September the 10th at 7pm. When she told me the date, I told her I wasn't going. She was rather pissed. As it turned out, I had my wisdom teeth taken out a couple days before so I decided to go 'for a little while'. About an hour before kickoff I took a Vicodin. About 5 minutes before kickoff I started feeling a little light headed, and I had to go home:( ....where nobody was there to bother me during the game.

I simply can not believe that any girl (no offense to you ) in their right mind would take that away from her brother. If I had brothers or sisters for that matter and they scheduled their wedding on this date I would be livid! :mad2:
I mean come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the week has finally come...the one that has had me pissed for over a year and half and which has caused the words "stupid" and "idiot" and the phrase "what were you thinking" to be used numerous times.

As we all know, this Saturday we play scUM. The one weekend of the year people in Ohio should know better than to schedule anything else.

Unfortunately, this Saturday is also my sister's wedding...at 1:30pm. Now granted, she went to Bowling Green instead of Ohio State, but there is absolutely no excuse! She was raised in a Buckeye household and should know better. She knows what this game means to me...as well as my other other sister who also went to Ohio State and is the Maid of Honor.

I already have the ear-piece radio in order to listen to the game during the ceremony and I am working on getting a TV set-up in the side chambers of the church for us to watch before and after the actual ceremony (of course it is a Catholic wedding, so it will be a good 45 minutes).

I'm feeling depressed, pissed, and desperate and want to disown my sister, is this wrong?.....:sad2: :pissed: :2004:

Oh....and for one last kick in the crotch.....she's marrying a scUM fan....:smash:

For all of the above reasons, I feel the need to ding YOU for sharing the blood line.

Peach, word to the wise, as a chick on the net, you should choose your words more carefully.

How do you know that wasn't careful word selection?

Just kidding. Suggestion noted....

For all of the above reasons, I feel the need to ding YOU for sharing the blood line.

Bucknut, that seems harsh. We can't choose our relatives, after all. Now if this were a friend's wedding, we'd have to address that.

weddings

I am a groomsmen in a wedding this saturday...the wedding is at 5pm though. I will be able to watch the game just not booze it up. If we lose, you all can blame me. we are 8-2 this year when I booze it up before the game. I will try to sneak a beer before the game ends just to even up the odds a little.

Pretty much the entire wedding party is OSU fans (with one scum fan). the entire wedding party received an email asking us not to show up to their wedding drunk or we would be asked to leave.
