That game reminded me of the Texas game. Just like the Buckeyes, the Seahawks couldn't capitalize on great opportunities.

Waaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaaa! Everybody holds all the time, figure it out.
I am not a Steelers fan by any means...I'm a Bengals fan. So...i'm not biased in this one. This game WAS NOT fixed. To say it was is just rediculous. All the holding calls were legit. The Roethlisberger TD was a TD. The PI call was PI, so what if it was ticky tack...it's still PI...just like it was PI in the Fiesta Bowl in 2003. Pass Interference is pass interference...why would you not call it just because it's the Super Bowl?
I was one bad call...the clip. And if you watch it in real time...it DID look like he clipped the blocker, but in reality he never touched him...and yeah, that's a bad call...but that happens. Then they call that play a fumble (because you can barely see he was touched and down by contact) but they review it, and GET IT RIGHT.
The NFL would not jeporadize the integrity of the NFL to fix a game. If you are pissed because the Steelers won, BY 11 points...then fine. But maybe Seattle should learn how to run a two-minute drill instead of looking like they've never even practiced it before.
The Steeler defense won this game. They stopped the NFL MVP. And a great play-call and pass from a Big-10 QB (Randell El) puts the game away for the Steelers. The Seahawks HAD to know he was going to pass there. Bad defense.
This is the last time I'll say this, because it will get old...but the ball crossed the plane, and then was pushed back, and then after Ben was down, he pushed it back across. All it has to do is break the plane at all...and it did. That's a TD. Correct call.BuckeyeKid789 said:I agree with most of that but that Roethlisberger touchdown was not a touchdown. Anyways, the better team won because the better teams know how to capitalize on their oppurtunities and they make big plays.

everybody? I don't remember any flags on pittsburgh, compared with 3-4 first down cancelling calls against seattle.Waaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaaa! Everybody holds all the time, figure it out.
The game was not fixed. It just was absurdly one-sided in its reffing. However, Seattle squandered away so many chances, horrible clock management, their TE dropping about 400 passes, etc.
The refs did not win the game for Pittsburgh. Seattle's mistakes were plentiful, but were also not the whole story.
The push off td was a td, I've never seen any foul that light (see Ward at 3qt 9:50 exemplifying how raping a DB with a pushoff is part of the game). Parker's TD was assisted by a clear hold, take that one off the board.
That makes the score 14-14.
I was not a fan of the holding call before the pass to the 2 by Seattle (afterwards there was an INT). Much worse holding by the right tackle in the drive before that by Pittsburgh, with no call.
The calls made a big difference.
