Is anybody putting together a tailgate? If so, post it...

I'll see you down there... the best I could come up with were corner seats in the upper deck (thank goodness they are row 9, so I don't have to worry about nosebleed's)...

I'd love to put together a tailgate, I've got cornhole boards and etc. I'll get a spot and set up, as long as alot of people come out. I'll bring a grill and cooler, along with some brats.

I have to have at least 8 people before I go through all the trouble of setting up a spot.
:oh:

Hey mister....what's in the pot?

We are looking for a place to join a tailgate. We are hoofing it to the Dome - much easier than to try to drive that big Suburban back to the hotel afterward.

I'm assuming we will be able to find a package/liquor/beer (whatever you want to call it) store as we get closer to the stadium?

Can anyone help if this is an option? I say you just fly a big BP flag and we'll find you. I def think you'll have more than 8 ppl there.

It's been almost 3 years since I've been to NO. The closest I think I got to the Dome would have been the convention center. It was Mardi Gras, so we weren't thinking about buying by the bottle or case at the time. I know there are little grocery store EVERYWHERE in the quarter, but for obvious reasons, we'd want to find a store as close as possible to the Dome so as to not carry all that alcohol about a mile.

Leroy - there's 2 of us...how many in your group?

And, the BP banner is a great idea. We'll have our laptop on the trip with us and can keep up as it gets closer for a location.

Well, since I live here I would bring my car down like I said with the Grill and Cornhole boards and my 4ft inflatable Brutus. Who is going to get us the spot? I think we should do it...I'll also bring a radio with the Buckeye Music.

I am definetely going to NO now. I found out that I will probably have a free ticket to the game but I will not know for sure until the day before the game. If I don't get the ticket for some reason, I am sure I'll have a blast just being there in the city. But the thought of a free ticket sure does have me salivating.

I usually fly ohio state flags at buckeye games, but it looks like all the parking areas are garages. I was also on tigerdroppings.com and talked to some saints season ticket holders who said grills were not allowed in "superdome" parking lots. Anyone know what lots/garages allow grills???

Thanks :osu:
