Official FIFA 2010 World Cup Discussion

It's a beautiful Spring day in Cape Town. About 80F and a slight breeze. The party downtown started about 6am EST, so people will be very lubricated by the time the draw starts. Cape Town have blocked off streets and really turned the downtown area into a multi-block party about the size of downtown Columbus.

Glad you guys will get to see Cape Town up close. Think San Diego without the heat and with that beautiful mountain. I hope that a lot of you guys can come and we can have a BuckeyePlanet tailgate party outside Greenpoint Stadium!

This just in. A foreign journalist said there was a bomb in the Cape Town International Convention Centre, as a joke. The South African police cleared the centre, then found out it was a joke after finding nothing. Everything is back to normal now.

Let it not be said that the South African police don' t enjoy a good joke. They liked this joke so much that they have invited the journalist to enjoy accommodation free of charge right here in one of the world's top tourist destinations.

That's right. Free of charge. And that's not all, tomorrow he begins a free tour of the judicial system.

Who's to say that folks don't understand Southern hospitality down here in the Deep South?

People on the ESPN live draw chat are talking about that now...
