It was, but I'm calling it poetic justice for the lack of a PK call when Given clearly tripped Anelka in the box seconds earlier.

Very true, when it first happened I was incensed. Then I thought about getting one more World Cup from Anelka, Gallas, and Henry while they are in form...I got over it very quickly.

Ireland usually makes a good showing in the Cup, I'm disappointed they didn't make it this time around.
