01/28/07- Buster Davis, Sr, Florida State, 5-10, 244
Senior Bowl Prospect Summary - Buster Davis was rather ordinary throughout the week of practice, but it is performances like his that is the reason behind my writing these reviews. The undersized middle linebacker is simply a thumper in the middle. He is seemingly always around the football and when he arrives, he does so with explosive hitting ability. Texas cornerback Aaron Ross was knocked out of the game with a possible concussion due to a head on head collision with Davis. Perhaps from hearing the impact, Notre Dame's Rhema McKnight, who slid under the collision, lost his helmet on the play. That's intensity.
hes a big hitter, and he definitely made plays during the game.

if you want to see him struggle in practice, PM me, I can shoot you a link. singletary was really getting on him at one point.

Canton

Draft class seems to give Edwards a pass
Monday, January 29, 2007
BY Steve Doerschuk

Should Phil Savage have known better than to spend a No. 3 overall draft pick on Braylon Edwards? The quick answer is yes.
Wide receivers rarely go that high. Edwards looked pretty in making assorted big plays for Michigan but dropped enough balls to raise concerns. Some scouts didn't buy the party line that Edwards had matured by his final year in Ann Arbor.

I still don't know what Quinn has done to be included on that list....

Come on, he threw for over 300 yards and 4 TD's against North Carolina's monster defense, and he threw for 3 TD's against Army!!! I mean come on, when you put up those numbers against quality competition like that, you gotta give him his due!!!

After watching the Senior Bowl, I am of the conclusion that I would rather trade down and take Levi Brown than Thomas. I doubt the Brownies are moving down the ranks, so I'm really hoping they take Peterson. Having AP and Droughns would remind me of the Mack/Byner days. How sweet would it be to have 2 1,000 yard rushers? If Calvin Johnson drops, I wouldn't be shocked if they bite.
