Did you happen to catch when he was blatantly pushing off to create separation, such as on the last three he made? No way was Redick or Duke getting the short end of the stick from the refs in this game.

Don't be so quick to hate... Read the rest of what was after what you quoted. And in what you quoted I even said he was "sometimes" doing it. If you didn't see that happening "sometimes" you didn't watch the game closely.

BTW... What's wrong with JJ getting emotional when he came off the floor for the last time in his college career? I saw plenty of OSU seniors emotional and upset by their loss this past weekend... Are they crybabies too?

Geez...I will rephrase it then. There are only a few things in sports better than seeing Duke lose in the tourney.

Duke had plenty of opportunities to put this game away when they went on that run. They had plenty of opportunities to trade baskets (at least) down the stretch but came up empty. They lost because they couldn't step up and hit shots when they needed to. Part of that was because of LSU's defense, they were very aggressive all night, but Duke missed tons of open looks tonight. But I saw Redick, Nelson, Paulus, Williams, and McRoberts all miss lay-ups tonight, some multiple times. You can't expect to beat a good team when you do that.

teams are focusing on him too much opening up other people on their team. rightfully indiana should have beaten them if killingsworth didnt get T'ed up but oh well. i think gonzaga is solid overall team but i think think they play near the level of a uconn or nova.

No complaints about Duke clutching and grabbing on defense? Redick had trouble getting separation because LSU had a great defensive scheme to stop him with great athletes and Redick was worn down.

honestly, last year I was one of the redick "haters", you could say. After enduring the unbelievable hatred thrown his way and how he's stepped up, I respect the guy a lot more. I wouldn't exalt him as a role model necessarily, but as a true competitor that rose to so many occasions.

Clearly nothing wrong with crying as they came off the court. Now if he were wearing Maize n Gold, he clearly would be a pansy :p

you were... and I also applaud that post. I thought there was some extra-curricular grabbing, but I've seen reddick do similar things in other games. They let them play, and much like last year against MSU, JJ was not able to overcome the physicality of the game.

is that why reddick was pushing off on every play.....on one play I counted 3 times? or is he just dirty? :p
