With the 21st pick, the New England Patriots select:

RB Lendale White from the greatest college football team of all-time.

Now we can give Corey Dillon his pink slip and save a shit-ton of cash against the cap.

We also have major needs in the secondary and on the offensive line, but we can't pass up the opportunity to draft a RB of White's caliber.

Marty is now happy enough to make his pick. Our original target was Donte Whitner. Marty was drooling over his next mad dog in a meat market but was heartbroken he was taken one spot before him. Now we could have picked our next guy but figured he would still be there a few picks down. The extra 3rd round pick in this deep draft will help round up our needs.

So without further ado Marty is proud to select...

Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida State University

Yeah, another CB but Antonio has the size and speed to be something special in the NFL. His great workout at FSU sealed the deal. He ran a sub 4.4 and measured a 42 inch vertical.
